Passengers experienced difficulties during the evacuation process, when walking over the trespass guards; this issue is not addressed in the existing Train Evacuation Briefing Notes (or other emergency documentation).

Recommendation
IÉ-IM should develop procedures for the evacuation of passengers over trespass guards, these should then be included in the Train Evacuation Briefing Notes and other relevant documents which reference evacuations.
