Recommendation
IÉ-IM CCE to update Technical Management Standard, CCE-TMS-323, Technical Standard for the Stressing of Rail, to include a more robust guidance for welders, in relation to recognising when there may be issues with the Rail Tensors; and what actions are to be taken when difficulties arise with the Rail Tensors.
