Information on the Decision Support Systems at Unattended User Worked Level Crossings is currently not included in Iarnród Éireann Infrastructure Manager's "The SAFE use of Unattended Railway Level Crossings" booklet; as a result the RAIU make the following safety recommendation:
Iarnród Éireann Infrastructure Manager should update the ‘The SAFE use of Unattended Railway Level Crossings’ booklet to include guidance on the Decision Support System.
