The canopy had not received an inspection that met the structural requirements of IÉ standards I-FBD-8100, CCE-SMS-001 or the superseded standard I-STR-6510 or. In addition to this a number of the Annual Inspections undertaken did not contain the required signatures.
Iarnród Éireann Infrastructure Manager should review the structural and annual inspection regimes for Building & Facilities to ensure all assets are inspected in accordance with the prescribed standards and any associated documentation is completed appropriately.
