The railway line from Dundalk to Newry is currently signalled bi-directionally north of the border into Newry, bi-directional signalling has been installed on the entire section but has not been commissioned.

Recommendation
IÉ should review the signalling infrastructure cross -border with a view to commissioning the bi-directional signalling.
